TRAVIS RODAKTravis Rodak is a lifelong resident of the panhandle of Nebraska. He was raised in Bridgeport, Nebraska and graduated from Bridgeport High School in 2001. Travis graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Hastings College in 2005. During his time at Hastings Travis was a member of the Bronco baseball team, served as Chair of the ALS Student Symposium, was a Resident Assistant at Bronco Hall, a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society, a recipient of the Jeffrey Wallace-Ellis Trust Award, and was elected to membership in Who’s Who at Hastings College.
In 2008 Travis received his Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law and his Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business. During law school Travis was Vice President of the Tech Tax Law Society and worked in the Texas Tech Low Income Tax Clinic. He also was a VITA volunteer who assisted in the preparation of income tax returns for low income individuals in and around the Lubbock, Texas area. Travis was admitted to the practice of law in both Texas and Nebraska in 2009.
Travis has been active in baseball officiating for the past eight years, highlighted by a top-student ranking at the Harry Wendelstedt School for Umpires in 2005, and three years officiating at the NCAA level from 2006-2008. His summers are spent umpiring American Legion baseball throughout Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado. Travis is also responsible for umpire scheduling and training in various towns throughout the panhandle of Nebraska. In his spare time Travis enjoys participating in fantasy baseball leagues and long-distance running.
